I brake for wildflowers. Driving through the Mohave Desert, we stopped to behold this delicate apricot color twinkling across the desert floor. Apricot mallow, the flower of tender mercies, is thought to make one feel more beautiful and to evoke tender, warm-hearted feelings toward oneself. I used thick emotive brushwork to paint the kindest little flower around.
This painting arrives ready to hang on a 1½-inch gallery-wrapped canvas with hand-painted edge.
