Aspen Trail

The trail to Capitol Peak in Colorado passes through stunning aspen groves. The white bark of the aspen tree reflects the colors around it giving each grove a unique mood. In some groves, the trunks look golden, others are purple, blue, green, and all shades between. In this grove, with the sun reaching in, there was the added color from the red rock the trail passed through. Enjoy the fresh air, the upward trail, and that Colorado color laid down in thick delicious brushstrokes. Good things are just around the bend!
