Fruit tree blossoms are one of humanity’s favorite painting subjects and I strove for a fresh new personal rendition. Huge thanks are due this particular peach, the first in the orchard to bloom by weeks, its wild new growth bursting out of its vase (the four main branches that split off from the trunk). Talk about inspiration! This brave little tree was blooming solo in mid February amidst 300 sleeping brethren (who now are blooming properly in mid March, following pruning). I fell in love! The original has a happy home with the orchard owners and this vibrant statement piece is available to you in prints.
