Day in the Life of a Redbud

This painting, from early in my use of oils was inspired by, of all things, a puzzle box. These were the years of children and puzzles and I loved the smoky trees. I added my own imagination to it with the green hillside and the three bright redbud trees in the foreground. This painting is done on a .75-inch stretched canvas framed in simple lath and arrives ready to hang.
