Wine country in Los Olivos, California, is such a treat. Over hill and dell, in grove and glen, the vines are tended, often around massive oaks that are left in the fields (I’m assuming due to protective laws, for which I’m grateful.) The Los Padres Mountains loom powerful, a backdrop worthy of its name. I used dramatic brushwork and a palette of earth and verdure to bring you this bucolic scene.
