Lilies of the Valley

Sometimes only flowers will do the trick. This was my first painting following an abrupt relocation to a new studio space and I dropped into a veritable jungle, a personal profusion, a comforting blanket of flowers in an imagined landscape with little else to distract. Even the hills are covered with flowers. Each brushstroke became a joy. No matter if it’s winter outside, it can be springtime in the heart. This bold, emotionally-rich painting is done on a 1.5-inch wrapped canvas and arrives ready to hang.
