On Yonder Pond

This was the view from my first art studio in Auburn, California, in the house we moved to from New Hampshire. The house was designed where the living room was the natural hang-out place, so I took over the family room as a studio. It overlooked this beautiful two-acre pond, which, still working in acrylics, I painted impasto style on this February day. This piece arrives beautifully framed and ready to hang.
