Phoenix Rising

Finally, after lengthy disruption from the summer fires… A Rose! What a joy to drop into the rich perfume of color and softness emanating from these glowing multi-colored petals. This rose was painted on commission and what a healing to immerse in this beauty following all the destruction and dense choking smoke, the antithesis of what you see here. I’m so grateful for this commission! For those who know my obsession with roses, this painting couldn’t be a better symbol of transformation and rebirth.
