Walking the redwoods is usually a fog-enshrouded, if not drenching, experience. But this day was an exception. It was late afternoon when we stopped at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and asked the ranger for the grandest trail if we only had time for one. We tucked into the quiet world of these ancient giants, not another human in sight. As evening descended, the sun cut through the forest like a laser beam, burnishing the trail right up to our toes. Thick brushwork and emotive strokes bring you into this light-filled cathedral.
Painted with lots of textured brushwork on a sturdy 1.5″ gallery wrap canvas with hand-painted edge. Arrives ready to hang.
