Ready for the last taste of summer? This painting is sweet as a peach and is dedicated to my Italian father who dedicated his life to the science of fruit and nut trees. Upon retirement, just for fun, he planted 10,000 oak trees, starting from the acorns — an accomplishment that won him the Colonel Sanders Super Senior Award. I used thick impasto brushwork, combined with fine detail, to look up at these sweet summer peaches and say, “Hi Dad!”
This painting arrives ready to hang on a 1½-inch gallery-wrapped canvas with hand-painted edge.
