Tree Dreaming

A late fall day in Sacramento, California, City of Trees, and one of my hometowns, led to an opportunity to lie beneath this beautiful tree in my friend’s neighborhood. Lush brushstrokes bring out the movement and emotional quality of the bright blue sky and color-drenched leaves which are illuminated here in their full enchantment. This painting is done on a 1.5″-deep wrapped canvas and arrives ready to hang.
