Zinnia Phiz

Credit my sister’s green thumb for this beauty. One of my favorite garden flowers, I love zinnia’s simple petals, unapologetic color, and how they seem to be looking right at you. I went on the hunt for synonyms for “face”, of which, surprisingly, there are very few, but I finally found the word “phiz”, which paired nicely with “zinnia”. And especially this zinnia, which seemed especially bubby. I laid down the paint thick as jam on crackers. Hope you enjoy!
